Angry Little Girls!

Ahhh - my not-so-secret indulgence. If y'all recall, in Regina, I found the only goth store and they were selling Angry Little Girls! bags and wallets. I, of course, came home with two bags and a wallet. I love the sarcastic humor. And I relate so much to Kim. Teehee. Here is the latest comic from the site.

Other than that - it is a quiet weekend thus far. Quite lonely actually, but still I got stuff done and I am trying to relax. The number of shows are going down on the PVR. The living room is changed. I have managed to find underwear in my brand and colour on sale (I won't go into the beyotch at Sears!) The kitchen is fairly clean. My office is not as bad as it has been. I went to the library and took out an eclectic range of books - only 21 books, that is really low for me. I managed not to get a slush float, or a yogen fruz, or a slurpee. Tomorrow is another glucose curve with the cat - I love my cat, but getting up at 7:30 and then again at 9:30 on Sunday morning is not my favorite thing to do. All day - every two hours - I hope this is the right dosage. I really do.

Lots of sad news yesterday for the TV watcher in me - the following shows have been cancelled:
Dollhouse (already knew, but still sad) Still haven't watched the last episodes (still on PVR).
Eastwick (already knew, but it had promise - he was really cute in the black hair)
FlashForward - really - are people really so lazy they can't follow the plot - it's not Lost - it was much less convoluted!
Forgotten - I love Christian Slater. Regardless, this show rocked! It was interesting. It was different. It had potential. Stupid networks!
Ghost Whisperer - I am torn on this - I enjoy the story, but it has gotten a bit weird.
Heroes - Not having seen the last chapter (see previous comments re PVR being full), I don't know if it completely sucked this year, but I liked the show and the premise. It had lots of potential. Of course, now they are being sued for stealing story lines - like a carnival theme is so original...
Accidentally on Purpose - I really liked this show. The characters were fun!

The good news is - the following have been renewed:
The Big Bang Theory - Love this show! Love the humor! Science and humor and geekiness - how can one go wrong?
The Biggest Loser - not a surprise - though this has been the best season - once they got rid of the red team, the show had just a fantastic, heartwarming team.
Bones - yummm - David...
Castle - whoot! Love this show!
Chuck - whoot! Love where this show has gone...
Cougar Town - it's a funny show - though I hear they want to change the name since she is not really a cougar any more
CSI - whew! Though because of the stupid Shaw people who do the guide, I have missed the finale. I did not care what happened to McDreamy! (Though I did fast forward to the end to find out if he lived. Not telling.)
CSI:NY - yeah
Fringe - awesome show! If you aren't watching it, you should be!
Glee - teehee. It's one of those dirty little secret shows to watch... teehee
How I Met Your Mother - while it is still interesting, it is almost getting to the point of who the heck is the mother?
Human Target - Yes! Love this show!
Modern Family - wonderful humor.
One Tree Hill - really?!? I keep hoping they will cancel it so I can stop watching it. I have to keep watching - maybe Lucas will come back!
Parenthood - I like the show - it makes me both want kids and not want kids - all in the same hour.
Smallville - Really?!? I am not sure what I think about this - it is kinda like One Tree Hill. I kind of want to stop watching it, but I can't because he hasn't flown yet... Plus I like Chloe.
Supernatural - I have no idea what they are going to do, but Thank you CW - I love you! More Sam and Dean!!!!
Two and a Half Men - hmmmm - where else can they go?
V - eh - well see how it goes. It's okay, I like the rebellion, but...
The Vampire Diaries - yeah! I love Damon - he is so hot! That bad boy with the slight bit of good in him - such a turn on!!!!

Alright - that's my life in a nut shell right now. Few more things to check out and then off to bed - early - for another thrilling day tomorrow. I hope it is sunny tomorrow - both selfishly so I can plant my garden and also for fave coworker who is getting married tomorrow. Whoohoo! Congrads fave coworker and fiance! I am sure you will both be beautiful and the day will be truly fantastic!

Trading Places

Oh - yeah - I am totally watching videos in the background. I thought I would share where my head is at right now (cause it certainly is not where is should be - paying bills - teehee). Here is one of my fave Usher songs. I love the lyrics...Rawrrrr!

Not myself tonight

I like the song - the video is pretty racy - I love the leather suit. And people were worried about Miley... ha!

Can't be tamed

Alright - anyone who really knows me will know I have a thing for wings. I am sure it is a scorpio thing, but regardless, put wings in something and you have my attention. Add a music video and I might be tempted to share.

The wings are hot! The video isn't bad either. For those critics, please remember she's not a little girl anymore. Just like Britney and Christina grew up, so must Miley...
